British Airways has announced a reduction on the fuel surcharge on the London to Tel Aviv route. At present the fare for a ticket in economy class on the route starts at $432, a reduction of $64.
As a result of a reduction in the fuel surcharge, the price of an economy class air ticket to London has been reduced by $64 to $432. The initial fare in Economy Plus is reduced by $206 to $819 and the price of a business class ticket will be $1,108 a reduction of $200.
The company indicated that this move reduced the extent of taxes on bonus tickets for frequent flyers and influenced ticket prices to all destinations passing through London.
According to Yael Katan, commercial manager for British Airways in Israel, the decision was made in light of customers’ requests. “For now we are offering the most attractive fares in the market on flights to London,” she added.
Fares to the United States and other destinations have also been reduced thanks to this step. For example the starting price of an economy class ticket to New York has been reduced by $165, an economy plus ticket down by $207 and in business class a fall of $251.
