Ministry of Tourism: New tourism agreement with Mongolia

The Ministers of Tourism for Mongolia and Israel have signed a new tourism agreement and will work to encourage tourism between the two countries. Misezhnikov: “The Ministry of Tourism sees great importance in making contacts with new countries.

The signing of an agreement is thanks to the initiative of the President of Mongolia, who visited Israel in 2008. It includes the exchange of delegations, the transfer of professional material, cooperation on tourism projects and other activities to promote tourism between the two countries.

The Ministry of Tourism reported that as Mongolia is partly a desert country, special emphasis will be given to tourism in the desert regions from the marketing aspect, rural tourism and the development of desert tourism.

The Mongolian delegation, including the Minister of Nature, Environment and Tourism, the Mongolian Ambassador to Israel (seated in Ankara) and the director of external relations for the Ministry of Nature, Environment and Tourism arrived in Israel on their 3 day visit and held meetings with tourism authorities in Israel and toured around Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

Minister of Tourism, Stas Misezhnikov said that the Ministry of Tourism see great importance in forming relations with new countries, whether to encourage new tourists to Israel or whether to promote cooperation in different areas.
