bmi have announced a special deal on flights from Tel Aviv to London Heathrow at a price of $379 including taxes. This is in response to the price of $417 offered by British Airways at the beginning of the week.
British airline bmi announced a new sales deal, offering flights to London at a price of $379. According to Sebastian Weinstein the CEO of bmi in Israel, the offer is intended for passengers who have waited until the end of the summer for cheaper ticket prices.
“This offer has a time limit notwithstanding it allows Israeli travelers to enjoy the intermediate period between the summer and the high holydays,” he added. It is thought that bmi were surprised to discover British Airways special deal at such an early stage in the year and were therefore in a hurry to come out with an even cheaper offer.
“It’s true that we are talking about an initial price, but the deal will be valid for a significant number of passengers in economy class,” explained a spokesperson for bmi.
At the beginning of the week British Airways launched a special deal for economy class passengers on flights to London, New York and Los Angeles, as well as offering a special deal for business class passengers from London to Tel Aviv at a price of $703.
