El Al has announced a cooperation agreement with French airline Corsairfly, owned by the TUI group, offering flights to the city of Montreal in Canada via Paris Orly Airport.
For the first time, El Al is offering flights to Montreal using the French carrier Corsairfly. The cooperation will include an El Al flight to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, a shuttle to Paris Orly Airport and from there a flight on Corsairfly to Canada. The price of the flight will be $849 including taxes.
Montreal, the second largest city in Canada is home to about 100,000 Jews. It is also the second largest French speaking city in the world, after Paris. According to El Al, the cooperation will be valid between September and October 2009.
Corsairfly is the French branch of the TUI group, operating flights to summer destinations, such as the Caribbean, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Mauritius, Madagascar, Réunion and Montreal.
It is expected that El Al will soon announce a broadening of the cooperation with Corsairfly to other destinations,such as Cuba.
