Sun d’Or unable to fly to Russia

Sun d’Or announced that it is unable to fly to the southern Russian cities of Sochi and Rostov, because they have not received the relevant permissions from the Russian aviation authorities.  At the end of last week it was forced to cancel its maiden flight to these destinations because of the refusal of the authorities to approve the Israeli security procedures.

Sun d’Or has announced that they have been forced to cease their planned flights to the cities of Sochi and Rostov in Russia, after they were not granted permission from the relevant aviation authorities.

Bezalel Karvat, CEO of Sun d’Or explained that flights have been cancelled until the appropriate authorizations are received. Currently the Ministry of Transport is working to obtain the authorizations from its Russian counterparts.

Because of the ban imposed by the Russian authorities on Sun d’Or, the Israeli Ministry of Transport announced that it will not give grant permission to Russian airlines to fly to Israel
