Grand Beach Hotel in Tel Aviv converted into a business hotel

The management of the Grand Beach Hotel in Tel Aviv, part of the Grand Hotels chain, reported an investment of 9 million shekels in renovation costs in order to convert the hotel into a business hotel.  The 212 bedroom Grand Beach Hotel is located close to the Tel Aviv beaches.

The management of the Grand Beach Hotel in Tel Aviv has announced the completion of renovation work, including a new business lounge, new fixtures and fittings in the bedrooms including new carpets, LCD televisions and new mattresses. The bathrooms have been renovated as have carpets in public areas and the marble floors. 

The Grand Hotels chain started operating in 2005 with the building of the Grand Court Hotel in Jerusalem.  The Grand Beach Hotel in Tel Aviv is the other hotel in the chain; both of which are owned by the Tike Family.

Dudi Ashkenazi, the manager of the chain indicated that in the past the hotel targeted the religious community, however now it has been rebranded and marketed as a business hotel.

The hotel is also aiming at providing daily packages for business persons, allowing daily room rental from 9am until 6pm, full use of the business lounge and meeting rooms, plus light snacks as well as use of the hotel’s swimming pool and vouchers for two taxi rides within the city; all this for a price of 299 shekels per person.
