Hotel chains to cooperate on tourist packages

The Tamares and Rimonim hotel chains, with thousands of hotel rooms throughout the country,  are planning to offer joint packages to tourists.  The two chains will offer barmitzvah packages, romantic packages and spa packages at their hotels in Herzliya, Safed and Tiberias.

As part of a new enterprise, two hotel chains in Israel, are offering three special packages suitable for different sectors of the market.  A barmitzvah package, a romantic package that combines a stay at the Daniel Hotel in Herzliya with the Rimon Galei Kinneret Hotel or the Rimon Ruth Hotel in Safed.  A spa package at the Shizen Hotel in Herzliya combined with the Rimon Galei Kinneret Hotel.

According to Anat Aharon, Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Rimonim hotels, the two hotel chains are located throughout Israel, however their locations do not overlap.  So cooperation between the hotel chains will provide tourists wanting to holiday in Israel, with the ideal opportunity to receive quality holiday packages covering the entire length and breadth of the country.

Rinat Zuckerman, manager of incoming tourism for the Tamares chain, indicated that according to a survey that was carried out, the American community prefer to stay in hotels in the north of Israel, while the French and British tourists prefer to stay in hotels in the center of the country.  She also added that the reason for the cooperation between the two chains was to create the maximum leverage in the battle for tourists.

The Rimonim hotel chain comprises seven hotels, while the Tamares chain, established by businessman Poju Zabludowicz, who owns 4 hotels in Las Vegas with a total of 2,500 rooms as well as the Daniel Hotel and Shizen Lifestyle Spa resort in Herzliya, the Daniel Hotel on the Dead Sea and will shortly open the Costa Hotel in Ashdod.
