The annual International Mediterranean Tourism Market (IMTM), the main fair for the tourist industry in Israel takes place on 11^th and 12^th February. Its purpose is to support incoming tourism, outgoing tourism and domestic tourism in Israel and to help strengthen cooperation with many countries around the World.   The fair is organized by Ortra Ltd. and Israel Travel News and is sponsored by the Israeli Ministry of Tourism, the Israel Hotel Association & the Association for Tourism Tel Aviv-Jaffa, as well as El Al Israel Airlines and the Israel Tourist and Travel Agents Association

According to the organizers, the exhibitors will display their merchandise to the Israeli public with colourful stands, Israeli music, food and drink tasting.  Plus there will be interesting and useful information
which will transform the Exhibition grounds into a unique and colourful world tour for a few hours

Among the countries participating in this year's fair are Hungary, Bulgaria, Croatia, Georgia, Romania, Cyprus, Turkey, Germany, Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, South Korea, India, Thailand, Tanzania, Brazil, Lithuania, Panama, Slovenia, Spain-Tenerife, Latvia and Montenegro.  Also taking part in the fair will be more than 200 Israeli tour operators, among them airlines, hotels, resorts and entertainment centres
